Hi Theo,

I just left a message on another thread asking the same thing.

I sent my answers back on Saturday 21st July, haven't heard anything back yet.

Fingers crossed...

Hi Mate,

I have sent my questions off and I am still waiting to hear how i have got on. They take some time to do! Do you know how many applicants there are likely to be and how many places there are!!!!!?????

last I heard there were 800 (ish) applications. As there are two start dates I would guess that there will be two courses of 6 so say 12 places in total. Good Luck.

Using the words of ppl student from the flybe MAPS thread...

It's the same with all these schemes, you will not hear till thurs/fri at the very earliest.

Applying some thought - applications closed on sunday, so some people will have applied over the weekend. These people will have been sent the questions on monday and given 3 days to reply. So that means THURSDAY they will have all the applications, then they have to sort through them all.

800 applicants! :uhoh:

800 applicants, that is a fair few! I will not hold out any hope in that case, but I guess we shall just have to wait. Like the rest of you I am awaiting a reply, I applied not too long after the applications opened, so it feels like an age ago! Good luck everyone. :ok:

yeah I know that waiting feeling well!! But don't give up just because theres a bit of competition, look at it this way, someones got to get it and that someone might well be you!

Hey guys - I take it that it is not just me who's wondering where the replies are for the questions that were sent off?

Do they send through emails if you're unsuccesful at this questions stage?

AlexD121
7th Aug 2007, 21:05
Ian, yeah you will receive an email at some point stating whether or not you have reached stage 3 of the selection process. I would have thought these emails would have been sent by now but it would seem that Flybe have been snowed under with applications and so this process is taking slightly longer. Good luck.

I've just got an e-mail inviting me in for assessment on 20 August but it looks like I'm not going to be able to get out of work. Their original e-mail said they would be holding the next phase between 20 and 23 August. Does anyone know if this is the case? Have e-mailed them asking for a slot on 22 if it's possible.

Well done to you guys who got through...haven't heard anything yet so doesn't look promising! :(

Widebodyboy

From the questions sent...

Currently phase 3 is planned to take place between the 20th and 23rd of august and phase 4 will take place between the 11th and 14th of September

Hope that helps, good luck all!

yeah I know the feeling about not hearing anything back yet. But, they maybe emailing those on the first few selection days first and the others later on, ie today or early next week, that way everyone has around the same amount of time to prepare for their interviews. But i could be wrong! Anyone else heard back yet? Cheers.

Hmmm, I have an AS Physics A-level, and 3 other A-levels but no Maths.

Are they pretty strict about that? I know it say they will not consider people without these qualifications, just wondered if anyone has slipped through the radar without both.
