Does anyone know where these guys will be taking off and landing from?

I think they created a temporary runway on one of the disused docks near London City.

zzzz..
Whether flown depends whether they weather the weather or whether the weather weathers it out......they are pretty weathered people.

Was cycling in the area today and saw some of the qualifying. Pretty damn amazing flying going on there! What REALLY caught my eye, though, was a chap doing aerobatics in a helicopter !!! :ok:

Amazing stuff, didn't know you could do this in a chopper. I am not too well versed in helicopters, so don't know which machine this was, but it was a jaw-dropper. Fab ! :D

If you go the RBAR website http://www.redbullairrace.com/ and look at 2007 pictures, there is a photo of the runway they created specially

Went today, some excellent flying. The BO105 (?) doing the aeros was different. Wx was fine, some wind, plenty of sun.

Hey fab photos Green Wings. I went both days in end - wasn't it super!! Great weather too. I thought the Red Bull Helicopter doing aerobatics was astonishing - not sure what the type was though. Great day had by all.

Hi Folks, I was lucky enough to have participated in the display in my little red Fournier RF4 (with twin wing-tip orange smoke trails). On the Sunday there was a brief period of sunshine as I flew. Did anybody in the Western stands get any good photos or video clips of my flying? If so, I would really like to hear from you. Thanks, Bob Grimstead
