a job application has asked me if I have "performance C". What is this? I figure is it some kind of exam. I have passed the Performance exam on the ATPL theory, is this what it is refering to?

I know 'Perf A' was a performance exam specific to the big iron but it is an outdated term as the qual is indeed included in the new JAA ATPL(A) perf exam.
Perf C may be the same thing for turboprops or smaller and likewise just an outdated term - just an educated guess, what sort of a/c is the job on?

have just called the CAA and found out that it is indeed an outdated term, from the days when you had to take a different performance exam for each class of ac. If one has passed the JAA performance exam then it covers all the classes.

CASE CLOSED.
