Hello fellow aviators I know this was talked about before but I cant find the thread and I have searched the net trying to find a written document detailing the rules of use for ILS range for LOC and GP but cant find anything. I seem to recall something about the LOC being reliable from 22miles and the GP 12miles but can anyone tell me the actual recommended range of use for both as often I have heard of some Aicraft beng cleared to incercept the LOC from 25-30 miles out from the RWY. ANd is anyone able to provide me with a link to some written info please.
