How much does it currently cost to sit a JAA PPL(A) exam/s, and do you have to pay to sit each exam.

They're administered by the flight school, so it depends on the school.

When I was with OFT in Florida, I seem to remember that the first try was included in the package, but each resit would be 90 USD.

That should give you a ballpark figure.
