I take it he left it on the deck then? Or was it 'just one more roller' for CFT?

This is what happens when you have too many in the circuit, personally I blame the ATC'ers for not ordering a go around

I wonder if such an impressive crumple zone was part of the original seagull design feature?

It's probably the first time a GR4 mate has ever got a bird to part her legs by dangling his undercarriage!

If only the Tonka pilot had selected reheat and gone round ! The Seagul could have been legless and barbecued at the same time!

To paraphrase a well-known trade training movie:

Quote: "Where'd it go?"

"Where'd what go?"

Nice Pictures!

errmm but, just thought; you shouldn't have been bird scaring instead of taking photos I Hope!

It's just your handle being ranger703 - no I must be wrong :hmm:

I was most definately outside the fence when the shots were taken. I'm Air Traffic for my sins, not BCU, but have chosen the quiet life, the handle does have some reference!

Tornado over the piano keys at Lossie today hit this gull, around about the area of the left hand undercarriage.

Surely that should be the left leg undercarriage?
