I'm currently doing my PPL and also working at a different flying school. Does anyone know if all PPL ground school exams need to be taken at the same flying school?

Thanks

You can take the exams at as many schools as you like.

The above answer is correct.

Just to add one point - make sure you get the appropriate part of the application form signed by the examminer who you complete the exam with. This will be the evidence that you have when you apply for the licence that the exams were passed within the required timeframe.

I seem to recall youre only allowed 3 tries at any one paper in a year or something similar

You get 3 tries, then it's off to the CAA at Gatwick for a final attempt. If you fail that then you are banned from taking any exams for 3 months and all other passes are invalidated.

I thought it was a trifle harsh, the "flog 'em and hang 'em" brigade thought it was spiffing.
