It was with great sadness we learnt that Val was the Pilot in the fatal C210 accident in Joburg on Thursday.. .There cannot be a Pilot in Gauteng that has not had contact with Val (& Ken) in some way or another at one time in their career, always to their benefit or help.. .Our condolences go out to Ken.. .She will be very much missed.

Memorial Service is at Lansaria Flight Centre Hanger, Sunday 17th, 11am.. . <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

This is truly sad to read this. I have had the fortunate experience of flying with her over 12 years ago on a King Air conversion. I found her to be a lovely person and a great pilot.. .I wish her family my condolances in these sad times.

Truly sad. Many years ago when Lanseria Flight Center were still up in the corner of the old terminal building, I learned so much from her.

My sincerest condolences to you Ken. Val, rest well, and thank you!

I can only echo what everyone else on this thread has said about Val. A lady who was as professional. .an aviator as one could find, and someone who would take time out to help, encourage and share her knowlege no matter how busy she was.

I had the privelege of doing Comm. prep and a number of conversions with her and Ken - a finer couple would be hard to find.

Sincere condolences Ken, to you and all who were close to Val.
