Has anyone converted an Australian CPL to an African CPL ?
Is it a rubber stamp job ?

Sorry, but that is a load of crap. Although granted that i have heard kenya can be difficult if not sponsored by a company- but then there are plenty more countries here than that.
Oz mates; first thing to do is get a job offer, then your employer will guide you through, or should take care of for you, the procedures for converting your Aussie license in whichever country you are to operate in.
To work in afrika, it is completely unneccessary to convert your CASA license to a JAR license, unless you have the right to abode in the UK... and the wish to do so.
