Can anyone tell me if the JAA licence is recognised in most African countries

No it's not! Most African countries will have some or other conversion requirements. Don't be surprised if they ask you to take all their exams, and do some flight tests. You know; the way your CAA make African licence holders do...? <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

So it will be better to keep my Belgian CAA CPL(ME) licence as long as possible? What about South Africa, easy conversion....??
Rossair seems a good place to start, or am I wrong!!??
