How many written tests and flight tests? How much time and cash is involved?

How much time to acquire a work visa for Botswana? How long is it good for? How much cash involved?

What is it like to live in Maun? How much for rent? Night Life? How many Air Charter Operators are there in that region of Bots? Which ones are good? Which one's should be avoided?

Anything else that comes to mind in relation to flying in Botswana would be appreciated.

I suggest you contact a South African flight school or even the S.A. civil aviation authority.
For a flight school try
http://www.flightschool.co.za
Get the appropriate phone numbers and give them a bell.
As for Maun check previous threads and while your there check out Namibia too.
As far as I can tell, to get a job there you have to be there.
Hope this is useful.

P.S.
Also look at http://www.gov.bw for general info on Botswana as well as

I know this great flightschool in Johannesburg that could furnish you with real good info. Their website is at www.flyingacademy.co.za (Not FTC!). If you're looking for charter and "on-demand" operators in the Southern Africa part, a good website to start at is www.guides.com. Click on "executives" on the main page which will take you to the next for "Charter Operators". They have website addresses and phone numbers which is a great start.
