Michael Spinak Cancer

Just heard that Michael Spinak, the Independant Financial Advisor for all mil aircrew having gone through Cranwell for the last I dont know how long, is suffering from Cancer and is currently undergoing Chemotherapy.
Michael has helped hundreds, probably thousands of students (initially, and grow up to be the leaders of the RAF!) over the years, I know I took his financial advice- thanks Michael!
He is just in the process of handing over control of his business to a John Gilbert if anybody wants a similar quality service. He will have to be good to live upto Michael's standards and background!

is this the same chap that sorted me out when i was at Binbrook in 1981?? If so i wish him a speedy recovery.

He bases himself in Nottingham but used to travel around lots of bases giving free advice and then if you wanted more he would take you on as his client - what he doesnt know about the mil financial system ........

Hi all. I attempted to post a thread on here in February, at Mike's request, to thank Ppruners for their concern in a previous thread late last year. He has been unwell for some time now and the first post in this thread is true, in that he has handed most of his business over to John. I think that the attempted thread in Feb was not aired for potential issues with Pprune's strict anti-commercial rules.

I think I speak for lots of current and previous clients of Mike's when I say that he has been a thoroughly reliable and trustworthy chap who has taken great care of countless military people. I echo the sentiments wishing Mike all the very best of fortune.
