JAA Written exams

I am a FAA certified Captain working for a European carrier. I have been told and see in the regs that I only have to pass three written tests to begin the process of conversion. I live in the UK and am wondering if anyone has a recommendation of a distance learning school that I should contact......Thanks

Only need 3 exams is right, but your licence will be restricted to UK reg aircraft. If you want a full JAA licence, all 14-odd exams are required:ugh:, no matter bow much experience you have:*

Where did you find the regs regarding only sitting just three exams to convert?

Why not sit all 14 exams? That way you won't be restricted to UK reg aircraft should you need to work somewhere else.
