HillerBee! Say it ain't so! Don't tell me you want to give up your tried-and-true Hiller for some Howard-come-lately design? I know you're just impressed by that flashy, new-helicopter smell of the 300, and I know how hot it must make you to want to fly something designed in 1955 rather than 1945. Please! Is that what it's come to...throwing out the proven "legacy" machines just because we want to fly the latest and greatest glitzy new toy?

Hang your head in shame, man!

P.S. If my current 1963-design FH1100 were a car, it would be eligible for "antique" license plates in the States.

I'm still flying Hillers. But I need something a bit more reliable for a project. You now I had a few engine failures the last couple of years, the last one was was in January this year, and I'm getting a bit weary now.

I loved our little 269B and trained on a 300C. If I could afford it I'd buy another 300, adverse comments notwithstanding!

P.S. In Canada they're known as "cabover chain saws" or "piss-quicks".
