Does anyone have any experience of this outfit's dialup service, please?

I'm getting mightily sick of Madasafish and their erratic performance - modems that 'connect' but don't talk to the server their end, modems that do, and then decide to join the others on strike, etc..

It's getting so I know from the tones which faulty bit of kit has answered, and what it's going to do or, more likely, not do.

And often, after much dialling, if I do find one that's working properly, the line drops after a few minutes and I'm back to square one.

I've found more problems with the telephone line into the particular house than I have with most dial-up ISPs. In my experience, the "free" (usually 0845) ones are as good as the paid-for dearer ones. When I was still using dial-up, I never had problems from our hideaway in the mountains, but had regular disconnects from the "main" place.

Now, both are on broadband, and ... guess what?

If you can afford £15 a month, broadband has a lot going for it!
