Hi all,

Thinking of applying to NetJets Europe (as direct entry FO) after reviewing the new crew package on offer.

I must say it is pretty tempting but would also want any inside information on the day to day life of NetJets pilots the working environment and how the job compares to the airline pilots one.

Any comments welcomed

Many thanks in advance

Tour details have been posted before - from memory they were in the NetJets Interview thread which is in the BizJet forum.

you gotta have 1500 TT if I remember correctly - no good for the average newbie :)

For newbies wanting to fly for NJE there is the cadet sponsorship at Oxford, which started this year. The first intake started last month and the 2nd selection process is curretnly underway.

Although I don't meet the 1500TT, anyone know if they would entertain just under a 1000TT instructor?

While 1500 hours is the minimum, it's best if you get some multi crew and multi engine time. I know it's hard to get but it's well worth your while to do so.

Good luck.

Just for your info.

I've got 2000+ TT, 400 M/E, inc. 150+ T/P multi-crew, 80+ MEP multi-crew

And they bounced me by return last week...

Good luck!

500 hours multi pilot/turbine is what you're aiming for as a minimum. (with the 1500 hours etc)

Of course, some folks will get in with less but that's the exception. (At the moment)

Jobs to consider if corporate work is your goal.

Air taxi work.
Exec work in a King Air or bigger.
Airline work in a turboprop.
loco jet work.

Ideally, you'll be seeking a position that'll get you used to working with a tight schedule, lots of changes, VIP passenger contact, multi crew and if possible, FMS/Glass.

Now I am not speaking officially as a representative of Netjets Europe but these are just my thoughts and experiences as a line pilot.
