Interesting article on p16 of this week's Flight magazine.

Reports that Argentina is persuing a pact with China to purchase Anti-Submarine helicopters, (Z-9s-Eurocopter licence built AS365Ns).
Could read a lot into that maybe? Pact that if Argentina was succesful in re-taking the Falklands (using its ASW Helos to prevent Belgrano II) China would help fund / purchase the Falklands oil reserves??

It does go on to report that only 48% of Argentina's 370 air force planes are currently listed as active though. Who knows, maybe they will end up buying Chinese J-10 (Typhoon style fighters)??

J-10 is not quite in the same ballpark as Typhoon Grim.... More ground attack orientated for starters.
