John Rochfort, Last known to be with 74. sqn. at Coltishall on Lightnings, then took ETPS. course at Boscombe. - I then lost touch. ? READY MESSAGE 10th Jun 2007, 14:24 Met a guy by that name at Air Belguim about 7 or 8 years ago, think he was the Chief Pliot. Was certainly flying the B737. harpy 10th Jun 2007, 14:31 John was with Air UK Leisure during the nineties. I'm not sure where he went from there. I heard a few years ago he was in semi-retirement in Spain. dragon330 15th Jun 2007, 17:09 After the demise of Air Belgium, I believe he went to a UK 737 operator. Possibly Astraeus. I think he now commutes between a house near Malaga, Sweden, and Canada. flite idol 16th Jun 2007, 06:32 Malmo?????Sweden? FlyingIrishman 16th Jun 2007, 09:40 John came to Ryanair from a UK operator (don't know which one...) and worked there as a contract captain until his retirement. A lot of the time he was working in Skavsta and bought a house in the town nearby, so this is the house you're talking about in Sweden. Other than that, I believe you're right about commuting between Sweden, Spain and Canada, but I don't know his exact whereabouts... Daft Wader 17th Jun 2007, 16:40 John went to Air Europe "its nice to be fleeced by friends" from ETPS, and a bloody nice and helpful chap he was May the farce be with you Daft Wader :ok: |
