My current logbook to me seems quite messy with scibbles etc.

I would like to rewrite my hours but my current logbook has the stamps on of which I cannot retrieve.

Would I still be able to rewrite in a new logbook?

Absolutely, but ensure you retain your old logbook with all the relevant stamps in.

Leave it as it is - marks and all. It has character! It is also the real record of your flying where as the new one will just be a copy.

Keep the old ones and get an electronic one for print off copies.
