MD902 G-CEMS (s/n 900-00089) has recently been registered to Yorkshire Air Ambulance Ltd (see CAA website GINFO). Previously registered as PK-OCR and possibly before that was N70089?

Registered on G-INFO with an MTOW of 2950kgso I presume it already has the extended tailboom?

I guess this is an addition to their current MD902 G-SASH?

Don't know if the additional payload can be utilised by UK operators. Something to do with no CAA perf clearance beyond its original MAUM:ugh:

TC; alleviations from performance requirements are acceptible under the terms and conditions of the relevant Exemptions and Permissions issued to a company for HEMS flights.

So it is possible to utilise the new MAUW.

(....if you really want to that is! .........I spend all my time getting the paramedics to take kit off the aircraft.)

Paramedics with kit off - NOI don't know about that. I remember watching that programme "flying medics" which was shown about 6-7 years ago following the County Air Ambulance at Cosford. I forget her name but she had bright red hair and a strong black country accent. She wasn't bad at all!

It's the accent I tell you!
