I heard that comair started training their own cadets, is this true?
Also with the new(old) 737's coming in they're going on a hiring spree. If so what are their requirements and selections like?

Let's not forget that pesky, minor criteria of US citizenship or Permanent Residency Status. Find yourselves a gringa.
Comair is close to ending the 3 month strike but all flights are off for 2 more months as they sold off a lot of their planes and let go a significant percentage of staff. It'll take time to get back into the swing of things.

IOS97 - This is the South African Comair, operating as British Airways, not the Delta subsidiary USA.

Hi folks!

Just wondering what the big outcome of the press release was recently concerning possible new/old fluffs on the line? Any new routes on the horizon? No doubt, Comair remains as stable as when I was driving the old Fokkers and initial Fluffs! :)

Oh, did I mention we are needing just under 300 drivers in 2002.........

Cheers MARats

My mistake Nutstrangler. Innocent enough as Delta Comair has exactly the same minimums of 1200 and 200ME. A lot of talk on pprune about how to get into the States as a pilot and was just trying to help.
It's interesting to read about what's happening in the African Aviation scene. Perhaps I'll just do that while scanning the African scene.
