To appear in DGCA India exams, one must have 50hrs of flying exp.
To apply for this exam, what all is reqd.? Is Computer number required?

Requirements For Computer Number(in which I have some confusion are):-
1.SPL or any other higher Licence.

Now, Please can some one guide me here.
If I have an Australian CASA SPL, will that solve this point. Or Do I need to have an Indian one.
Will they accept an Australian CASA PPL?

2.Flying Training Exp.

Will DGCA India accept Australian Flying experience? And How Much is required in this case for SPL?

Thanx
Aditya

All the information u've requested for is available on the DGCA website, have a look in the CAR parts.

If u have some specific questions just give them a ring.

Hi,
Yes, you need to get a computer number to write the Indian Exams.

To get the computer number one needs the following:
1. 50 (or more) hrs of flyin experience (from India or abroad)
2. 10+2 (math+phy) as minimum education - one has to provide attested copies

Basically, if you are not flyin in India, you wont need an Indian SPL to apply for the computer number

As Vikram said, download the form for application of computer number and have a look at DGCA website.

Cheers,
