found this and had to chuckle
some one had been doing sneaky mods without approval !!! or havin a wank !
probably the latter!

If you follow bladepitch's link and then click on helicopters on the left had side, it looks like the R22 isn't the only thing they have been doing nifty mods to!!

Bell 206 Jet Ranger
The Jet Ranger is an executive twin engine helicopter capable of carrying up to 4 passengers. It has a cruise speed of 185kph (100kt), and a range of over 500km.

The 206LT (Twin Ranger) actually exists. It's a Long Ranger with a Soloy Twin Pac consisting of 2 x RR Allison 250-C20R. Not many produced though.

At the end of the day, who cares how many engines it has? The blades are just as likely to delaminate or have some other catastrophic failure occur! After all its the machine that has killed more pilots than any other machine. Something Frank Robinson should be proud of.:{

Yes, it joins the Model T Ford in the Hall of Infamy. So many people killed in them because so many people used them - because there was nothing like it until then.

Agreed. Just wanted to point out that one of the configurations actually existed.

Looks like a victim of Cutting & Pasting a mistake. Aren't computers wonderful!
