I'm doing a uni project looking at slats. Does anyone have any knowledge of the maintenance of the roller bearings that the slat track runs on?

Perhaps someone works at BAMC or knows someone who does?

If possible some information on B777 bearings would be ideal, but anything would be useful!

To service Aircraft need to look in a aircraft maintenance manual supplied by the manufacturer. For Boeing 777 D633W101.
In chapter 12 ata of AMM tells how to apply grease 12-20-00 ie clean nipple, and let bearing overflow with grease.
12-21-08 gives task of lubricating the Slats with illustration of location and number of grease points, and type of grease to apply. BMS3-33.
in AMM 20-10 gives standard practises to follow when servicing.
in AMM 20-30 gives matierials to use and alternatives ie Mobil, Shell grease . ie Aeroshell 7.
Aircraft maintenance schedule will tell planners when task of greasing needs to be done.
After an aeroplane has been greased and flown the grease get splatted ever where, and comes in nice colours of green red, and brown, then collects dirt and goes black, especilly around wheel brakes.
