I've seen this helicopter on a few occasions, going in and out of somewhere east of the M6 near to Charnock Richard, most recently Sunday 13th May at about 1400hrs.
It's American reg, and it looked very impressive crossing the motorway, and it lightened up an otherwise boarding drive to work.
I just wondered who's it is, and where it lives?

People tend to be very cautious about giving details of that sort, even if they know. On an anonymous forum, we never know who's asking, or why.
I've got a vague recollection you're a policeman. Is that correct?

Certainly am, one of GMP's finest on a rest day.

Had a few cans of Stella, saw it yesterday and thought, if only I'd worked at school, nothing more sinister than that.

ON21,

Shouldn't you be I99 if you are GMP and not Lancs old callsign.

The 109 in question lives at Euxton and belongs to a very rich gentleman who also owns another 109, a S76, couple of jets, 200 racehorses and Blackpool tower amongst other things.

Enough clues?

Blatantly obvious now after those clues, CID for me! :ugh:
Just satisfied my curiosity.
