Dear guru's,

Alas I'm having a drama with Firefox! :ugh:

I have noticed within the last few days that the browser will happily go to whichever site I chose, a couple of times but then out of the blue it'll hang for a few minutes. Eventually the new page will open. When it hangs, the little clock thing in the upper RH window keeps spinning, and the word stopped appears in the LH lower window

I have absolutely no idea why this is happening. IE doesn't seem to have a problem. My OS is XP pro SP 2

the desktop and lappy are both wirelessly (is there such a thing?) connected and the problem doesn't seem to be on the lappy.

I have been digging around on the mozilla site and I can't seem to find anything that may point to a problem. I did find a reference to sun java 6 not being helpful with firefox but nothing else.

Do any other firefox users have any experience with this sort of annoyance?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Have you got any extra plug-ins?
I've got the Firebug plugin which causes it to crash now and again
