Brought a mighty ten back from the painters yesterday, the new paint looked tidy enough, better than the red fin, however upon climbing the steps to enter the front door there is now a RAF corporate logo painted on the side. Not just one though, one at each door. Is the "ROYAL AIR FORCE" written in foot high letters down the side not enough. Would it not be better to spend some money on new a/c and equipment as opposed to RAF rucksacs, casual clothing ranges, more badges for our greens and fancy paint jobs on our jets and a/c tugs.
:oh: Rant over!!
Still living the dream!!:ok:

raffmat, I am a fairy by trade, so as long as you do a good paintjob, I can stay clean. As for them dirty sooties....

Meanwhile, does anybody actually know why a person going onboard the Queen of the Skies, on an RAF station, or to an RAF station, would actually need to see a corporate logo, or is it just to prove that once in a while, the RAF can actually produce an aircraft and not rely on chartered aircraft?

Which desk jockey came up with that corporate logo crap. Why do we constantly get bombarded with civil answers to military problems, cheap answers at that.

I guess this one is to improve "Corporate Identity" to the other Services when we drop them off 5 days late because our AT is past it's sell by date, or is it just for the media?

It will not cheer up the pax, stop people leaving or help recruitment, etc. If they must spend scarce funds on pimping rides, how about spending it on something more positive :ok:

Surprised the Ethos Mafia have not thought of it! Not that I believe in that waste of funds either, your either interested in the geeky stuff or not.

Is it true when the Mighty Hunter gained some artwork for Telic the Det Co demanded its removal?
