 Looking forward to seeing you all at Badminton this weekend (Friday - Sunday). Weather forecast is promising, lots of parking available and if you're not interested in horses there's lots of other things to see and do.

Two things though:
Do book in advance for an arrival slot on Saturday morning. (01454 218333)
Do have a careful pre-flight look at the ample Controlled Airspace near-by.

More information on the web.

Almost certainly will be using RW 07 at the weekend by the look of the weather forecast.

Nice long runway, but with certain wind directions (Sout/East) there is turbulence on short final, from trees at the threshold and (more awkward) half-way down the strip to the south.

Not too hard though, so give a try!

I also forgot to mention that if you're coming on Friday there is gliding activity to avoid at the near-by Hullavington airfield, (Junc 17 M4?) and on Saturday evening there are a some aerobatics just west of Badminton at Doddington House apparently.
I might be serving cream teas Friday tea time if anyone is in need of refreshment......!:O
