This was taken a few weeks ago at Thruxton. Anyone know what it is (other than an old domestic oil tank with a Calor gas cylinder and a welded tail boom) or what it's for?!
The wire cutter is a nice touch - perhaps an optional extra?

You may laugh...... will appear on Ebay soon.......Engine/ airframe for sale, can be made airworthy, no paperwork etc.........
Good to see pics of Thruxton again, had many a happy time in the bar trying to turn the "horizon" upside down :yuk:

Its a Westland Wasp HAS 3 (note wheels) custom built for the seven dwarfs h-r;)

I go with the Wasp HAS III.
Well thought out mod to put the Mk46 on top where it's additional height would give it another 20 - 30 yards carry, thereby almost doubling its range...

With 3 windows each side, I believe it to be one of those Westland 30s (WG 30).
