A JAS-39C Gripen from F21 Wing at Kallax crashed during approach to land at Vidsel/ESPE 19/4-07.
Pilot ejected and was taken to hospital for routine checks.

No reason was given the first day, but all "C/D" model Gripens were grounded.
Yesterday it became clear that it was a uncommanded ejection, pilot says he was caught by surprise. (Late night at Martin Baker last night no doubt)

Today SVT reports that an uncommanded inflation of the g-suit might have caused the ejection handle to move, and the ejection sequence to start.
They quote a source inside the Swedish Air Force.

It sounds a bit strange to me, anyone that can comment on such a sequence of events?
