Just wondering if anyone could tell me what an RAF Sea King was doing over Ashford about 11:00 this morning

It may have been on a SAR Op, they happen all the time all over the UK.

I was just wondering if something major had happened because they flew into the hospital just after the air ambulance had flown out

It may or may not have been involved in a Medevac....

There were in fact two RAF Sea Kings at Ashford yesterday, both from Wattisham, both involved in an ECMO transfer to/from Leicester. One aircraft collected the team from Glenfield and delivered them to Ashford, and the second did the return leg. Fingers crossed that the patient made it...
