hello....

can any one of the A320 Experts tell us what to do exactly in case of an FCU failure in step by step order...considering the failure exactly after lift off.

Pitch to 15 degrees, positive rate - gear up, call "speed select 250", at Thr/Red altitude, get rid of Th/Lock condition and select CLB, use your standby altimeter for altitudes, deselect FD PB's, keep your flight plan sequence correct and you will always have the next waypoint indicated in your ND, next will be to plan your return since you are no longer good for RVSM. Just took a stab, assume you meant double FCU channel fault. :confused:

Perhaps you should have used your words of wisdom in answering kuwait340's question rather than being critical of Dream Lands response.
In response to Kuwait340's question;
With an FCU 1+2 fault, the following is lost:
A/thr, Ap 1+2, Fd 1+2
All the FCU controls are inop and barometer reference automatically reverts to 1013.
On the PFD:
Altitude alert is inop
FPV is displayed
Mach indication is inop
ILS deviation scales are displayed
On ND:
Rose nav mode 80nm is displayed
Hence if both channels are lost, then it's back to basic flying with attitude and thrust, with the added advantage of the FPV. QNH needs to be set on the standby and altitude reference is with regard to that.
If the failure occurs after lift-off:
I would aim for about 15' pitch attitude, you'll need to level off based on the standby altimeter unless you're climbing to a flight level. The rest is fairly standard attitude and manual thrust to level off and contain the speed.

- Flush Control Unit
- Fuel Control Unit

The very 1st thing you do apart from the old adage ...aviate, navigate, comms etc is go the the QRH where you will find a proced for resetting the CBs for the FCU in flight. It should work and reset same.

Had a single channel FCU fail recently and the reset worked. A double FCU failure is a very very serious failure and can lead to all types of scenarios esp if you are operating IMC low pressure areas. You will still have your stby baro but that is a crock of sh@t as tumbler only moves on the 1000's slot and can get confusing.
