Hi.. I have been undergoing treatment for kidney reflux... i have 3rd grade reflux. will i be able to pass class 1 medicals and join an airline ? Will the problem get resolved if i get operated ?

It should certainly improve things, and your docs are likely to monitor your kidney function carefully, following the operation.

Sorry, can't answer your aviation related questions- have you discussed this with the authorities?

Thanks a lot for your reply.. the doctors say the operation is not necessary.. my right kidney is only 5.3 cm in size.. so the doc says the damage is already done.. so i am just afraid that due to this problem i wil not be able to clear my class 1 medicals.

I have an appoinment on Monday with a approved doctor.. so hoping to hear some positive news
