Morning folks ,

I have a UK JAA ATPL and loads of P1 time on 737s ( currently NGs ) and need to acquire a FAA ATP with 737 TRating.
Can anybody recommend a SIM training establishment in the USA where I can do the joint ATP / Type rating Practical test without doing the whole type-rating course ?

I Second the opinion for www.jetcrew.com (http://www.jetcrew.com). They are good people with a lot of experience. I have several buddies there and they will not disappoint.

Pan Am Academy in Miami has a 737 type with the ground school home study course with a really competitive price. You can get everything done in one shot. ATP and type.

The Jetcrew/HPA option appears the best as it offers NG/BBJ simulators whereas Panamacademy does not.

Just that there is no mention whatsoever of NG on Panams website.
Will email them anyway.

Why pay extra to do the type in an NG?

I figure that I might be able to do less simulator sessions on my current type than on the efis which I have not flown for over a year . Just saving on one session would make it financially sensible.
