Meal Charges

Does anybody know if First Choice give out meals on their flights to everyone, regardless of whether they have or not paid for them ? (i.e. can you get a meal without having to pay the surcharge?)

I have heard of this with other airlines but am particularly intersted in this one.

I flew with them last July from GLA-BOJ. We paid for the meals, but it seemed as though everyone was given one anyway.

Certainly in our front section of the plane hardly anyone wasn't eating, and they may have just turned it down.

If First Choice are the same as ThomsonFly then all the passengers who have paid for meals are seated at the front and those that havent at the rear to make life a bit easier for the Cabin Crew.

This may lead to the impression that everyone was getting a meal
