Just received an application and information packet from Air Logistics in the GOM. Any current Air Log pilots out there that can answer some questions?

1. Info packet states starting pay is $48,719 with no GOM experience. Is the starting pay higher if you have over 3,000 hours in a few different turbine machines in a variety of operations (but no offshore experience) or is it the same starting pay as the 1,200 hour non-turbine pilot?

2. Packet states all new hires start in the B 206. All transitions are based on seniority. Does this mean prior experience is not a factor in getting upgraded?

3. How long does it typically take to get transitioned into a multi-engine aircraft?

4. Why choose Air Log over the other GOM operators?

5. If my goal is to get into a multi-engine aircraft flying IFR as quickly as possible, is Air Log the company to go with?

6. Why is the interview a two day event? Do they ever make exceptions and do it in one day?

7. The info packet said the average experience of the pilots at Air Log flying 407's is around 5,000 hours and the average experience of the pilots flying multi-engines is around 7,000 hours. Are they saying this to illustrate the high level of experience within the company or are they insinuating you need to have that level of hours for them to transition you into those aircraft?

Any info from current pilots would be greatly appreciated. A PM is good as well.

Many thanks,

Rocker
