I am 40 years old. I have about 1700 hours, mostly on jets including Mig-19 and Mig-17,T-37 and some propeller. More than 1000 PIC. Have not flown since last 10 years.
What are the prospects of landing a good job ?
How does the aviation industry treats foreign military pilots?
Does this jet experience has any standing in job market?
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking in anticipation to all my brothers in arms.

Hello,
If you have an EU Issued JAA ATPL/ CPL IR/ME with all the theory exams, then you should be treated the same as any other mil pilot, except that you have not flown for 10 years.
Some companies specify that you must have had your licenced issued initially in the Uk, but mostly this is not the case.
If you do not have any licences then I suggest that you need to pursue this first and get current again in flying.
Prospects in the market appear to be good, look at futureairlinepilot.com and pilotjobsnetwork.com.
Cheers
