Howdy

Flew C152's for a good while and mounted my Pilot III on the yoke (with the comically expensive clamp) with no problems at all.

Just upgraded to a PA28 with what looks like a subtley different yoke shape and it seems I have a choice of having the display point to the roof or at my belly button but not towards my eyes.

Has anyone else found this and come to a good solution?

Not quite sure what your trying to say here friend. The reason im interested is im looking at buying a PA28 Cherokee and i have a Pilot 3 and im looking at yoke mounts at the moment, seem to be priced at about £65.00.So what seems to be the problem.Does the yoke mount onto the control column ok ?

And welcome to PPrune m8

I have a strip of Velcro on the bottom of the Pilot III and put a sticky backed strip on the centre of the coaming. Velcro is ex- Tescos and about £2.00 for a packet from the sewing section.

Doesn't always point in exactly the right direction but then it isn't a primary navaid is it ???
