Hi all,
Did anyone here in recent news the decision for the ADF to acquire about 23 or so new FA/18 Super Hornets in the near future? Just curious, what are everyones thoughts?

Is the ADF a bit like the RAAF? Have you been Canadianised?
I'm not sure what your saying?
ADF= Australian Defence Force
RAAF is within the ADF.

24 F/A-18 E/Fs (mix not stated) for the RAAF to fill the gap between F-111 and Dave.

No E models...All F's so the nosegunners can be kept on a leash!!

I suppose they are buying the F model so that they can keep the Pig crews together and give it a read and write capability... :ooh:
If the USN can keep the F-model going until 2030, why not do the same and forget Dave altogether, thereby saving xxx billions? Then move onto Dave's replacement - Super Dave?
