Trying to find Piper Cub G-BHZA, s/n 11883, last registered in londonderry, N Ireland 1984 and no record of since.

Trying to find traces of this plane

According to GINFO registration was cancelled by the CAA IN 1989,sorry cannot be any further help:sad:

Used www.google.com and did find an old photo of a Piper with a canadian registration:

Yes, i've seen that picture, doesn't tie up tho. If you go to Transport Canadas website, 11883 doesn't match to that registration, instead to another cub, C-FPKN. The CAA show 11883 being registered G-BHZA in the UK in the mid 1980s, Transport Canada show it being C-FPKN and in Canada from 1969 to 1989.

Thats my problem, hence the posts on this forum. I do have some other info that ties G-BHZA to being in Northern ireland between 1984 when it last flew and it being de-registered in 1989, which i'll keep to myself for verification if it pops up again here.

Potentially if this get cleared up, there could be another Cub taking to the skies towards the end of next year
