Hi All

No Quote button available on forum posts - anyone know why?

Cheers

I would guess because it was the most misused facility on Pprune, good riddance.

Just change the &noquote=1 to &noquote=0 in the address bar, quicker and easier.:)

I don't understand. Can we do quotes or not??????1.Select with your mouse the part you want to quote.
2.Ctrl-C it, to add it to the clipboard.
3.Go to the "post reply" button just below here, click it.
4.Click on the icon at the right end of the toolbar, the one that looks like a little page of type with a hook on it. The word "quote" appears twice.
5.Ctrl-V to insert your selected text between the quotes.

Carry on with your response.

All that other computerspeak made no sense to me.

But your way is a bit long winded ;) When you click on the 'reply' button you'll see that the URL in the address bar is summat like this: "http://www.pprune.org/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=3155703&noquote=1" (this was what I got in replying to your mail). You can see at the end it says "&noquote=1". I delete that and hit enter, the quote I want then shows in my reply. Alternatively change the 1 at the end to a zero.
