Loose rivets

After some respite, and at last some acceptance of taking BP medication, the burning fingers syndrome has come back...with a vengeance. This time small pockets of histamine ?? are visible in the swollen read areas.
I wondered if this might be a clue to what's going on. She reported the swelling to her UK doctor, and had blood tests. Everything seemed normal.

It seems perhaps that I should be looking for the cause of the histamine rather than the redness/pain.
Any thoughts would again be appreciated.
