My Google Earth has suddenly started to display random blocks of other areas on the selected display, below. I've removed it, re-installed it, everything - no change. Anyone with any ideas?

Try emptying your disk cache and if this doesn't work delete the
cache file.

Google Earth > Tools > Options > Cache Tab.

Best if you have broadband as GE will need to re-download any areas previously viewed after the cache data is reset. This would be painful over dial up.

Good Luck!

Thanks, I've tried that. No difference. I deleted all of Google Earth, did a fresh download, and made sure everything was 'Default'. No difference. Mystery!

Perhaps the Welsh have been busy reclaiming land from the sea!

If oldbeafer is right then the Mexican's have just got back most of Texas and half of California. 'Bout time too :ok:

Perhaps a switch in the display method GE uses would help. Try changing from OpenGL to DirectX (or the reverse) and see if that helps.

Good Luck!

Glad to hear the good news on both the Google and Pub fronts, forget.

You and the oldbeefer had me worried - ok, I admit perhaps not so much regarding the western expansion of Wales..... :)
