Can any body who is actually working on the Predator at the moment with 1115 Flt let us know what the actual lifestyle is like out there? What sort of hours are you working, amount of time off and that sort of thing?
Just thinking of possible future postings....
Many thanks in advance.

Is it true that the blokes out there... "flying" the Predator actually wear flying suits? And do they get flying pay?

Just wondering.....:E

Been done to death before but I can't be arrsed to find the thread.

But in short YES and YES.

A bit like TAS / TCW and all thse other sudo Tactical units (not forgetting PJHQ ...) who wear CS95 when at their homebase.

Is there any truth in the rumour that the two MQ-9's recently purchased may be based near a certain rural cathedral city?

Truro has a fine cathedral - Culdrose is very close by, handily placed should the MoD follow Col Collins' advice :}

MLT...

Rumour has it, rumour being Station Cdr's brief to the world on RAF Wad Home Page.. The Predator squadron shall be known as 39 Sqn. Administered and housed at Waddington, operated from "sounds like screech" AFB in US.

Seems tad crazy to ressurect 39 so soon, whilst Canberras are rumoured to be leased back to mod from private contractor (see thread here on PPRUNE). How crazy!!

Its all rumour.!!!!
