Just checked the Red Bull Air Race dates for 2007 :

South America - 21 April 2007
North America - 12 May 2007
Istanbul, Turkey - 02 June 2007
Barcelona, Spain - 23 June 2007
Europe - 07 July 2007
Europe - 29 July 2007
Budapest, Hungary - 20 August 2007
Porto, Portugal - 01 September 2007
North America - 22 September 2007
Central America - 13 October 2007
Perth, Australia - November

I am guessing that one of the 'Europe' dates will be here in the UK ?
Anyone know which one ?
Is it Longleat as in the past ?

Longleat is not going to be a venue on the Air Race series this year I don't think.

The grapevine says that the "Europe" venue for 29th July will be London Docklands.

Longleat was indeed a damper, was very disappointed.

Hopefully it will be somewhere away from the British Isles!

One of the dates last year was in St Petersburg, Russia. We were there on the day - and with 24 hours notice it was cancelled.

Being in Russia at the time I never really got chapter & verse on what happened and why, but for something primarily to promote the sponsor's product it seemed a huge own goal.

If they're going to be in London Docklands that will be an interesting challenge for Thames Radar !

Perhaps a return to Ireland??

I can't really see a return to Longleat after last year and its the only one you have to pay to see (as far as I know)
Personally I'd like to see it over the Mersey :)
