Hi all,

Just wondering what companies employ crew and base them outside of major centers ie. SYD, BNE, MEL, PER etc. Particularly in the north.

Please feel free to PM me!

Thanks in advance and happy flying.

M.

Hi There c3000,

The ones that I can think of now (hope this is still current!) include Mac Air in TSV, Sunstate in CNS, National Jet Systems in CNS and DRW, Alliance in TSV, AirNorth in DRW

I think they are the main ones! :ok:

Add to that Jetstar in Cairns (I think!). It's not in the north, but Jetstar also have a base in Newcastle (NSW), which some would argue isn't a 'major centre'.

Rex have bases in Orange, Dubbo, Wagga, Albury, Lismore. Eastern have one in mildura I think. QRA have one in cairns, and a couple scattered up the qld coast from memory. Strategic base crew in DRW.

The biggest of the bases out of the capital cities is of course the Qantas ( AO ) CNS base. 300 cabin crew based in CNS.
