Don't remember this being discussed before. Seem's both events have been put down to Pilot Error - is this a result of poor training, lack of experience? How does the Dutch AF continuation and pre-deployment training compare to our own? Could this happen to one of our Mk2s?

Still, at least we have lots of Wokka's left in the world:} .

PS - Glad to see that the crews/PAX had no fatalities.

Without wishing to bedewindow at all, RAF chinooks are not invulnerable to the perils of Afghan landings either, but thankfully without the kind of results that the cloggies have had.
