Looks like I will be heading back to London and looking for a new job. I worked 8 years for BD handling and 5 years in ops doing all the contracts. I wouldn't mind getting back into this again, but where to look?

I've been doing a few days of internet searches and hoped that some folk here might know of any handy websites for ops jobs at LHR.

Thanks in advance

Tony

Tony M,

The most obvious place to look is on Aviationjobsearch.com under Operations and Airline/Office Jobs.

If you have not already used this website, you can't really go wrong as most major compaines advertise through them.

If you are in the LHR area, then also try and get a copy of the LHR Skyport Newspaper which comes out every Friday and will be available in cornershops, petrol stations and all sorts of places around LHR.

Good luck,

Thanks Punch. Yup, I've already got that one and LHRjobs. I'm near Liverpool at the moment so getting the Skyport isn't easy.

Try also looking at the handling agent websites directly. www.servisair.com (http://www.servisair.com) have got the "join us" section where they advertise jobs. At the moment there are no LHR jobs just LGW and STN. www.aviance.com (http://www.aviance.com) have also got a section where to send the cv. www.britishairwaysjobs.com (http://www.britishairwaysjobs.com) and I've heard the Virgin Atlantic are recruiting for the summer up to the 9 of February.
