I have also been asked by Emirates HR Dept. to send a resume over for them to consider. Since I have knowledge of the Lido system, it would not be too tough to adapt but I want more info regarding the working environment there. What's a good asking salary for them and what is Employee Grade EK.08?? Any sort of help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.. :)

Grade 8 is not a Junior Management postion.
Its a senior supervisory posion.
Pay is crap if your a western expat. Be sure to negotiate a decent package......Dubai is expensive.

The grade 8 mentioned above seems to work out at about £25K a year, not bad if it is tax free, but then again if Dubai is quite expensive there might not be much to spare and save, which would be the intention of a lot of people!

Dubai is not a a place to live with this salary..... EK Grade 10 is ideal for living comfortably

You better get company housing as your utility allowance will not get you anything your used to take a look at rent prices for apartments and these are from 2006

Grade 8 does not include company housing as an option. Ive accepted the offer and handed my notice in to my current employer... starting to wish I hadnt the way this threads rolling out.

Not at all Ralle72........:=
Your location says EDDF, so I take it your with LH or DE or maybe even LSY.
I hear that a few QF specialists will be based in your neck of the woods soon. If you come across any of them you may like to ask why !!! :)
