well, nice to see the first moves are under way for the full integration of the CX/KA freighter fleets.........good cost saving excersise, gets rid of a few management positions, and so Beautifully done, wet lease the KA freighters to themselves then everything is under CX callsigns.......................Pilot integartion won't be a problem as they can move all the KA Captains in as "F/O rapid Command"

Job done.....................................

well, nice to see the first moves are under way for the full integration of the CX/KA freighter fleetsMakes business sense tho' doesn't it? Why fly the same types on same / similar routes under two operations?

gets rid of a few management positionsAgain, I guess that cost saving is not a dirty word (or strictly phrase), and there was always going to be duplication after the buy-out (or sell-out from the KA side of the fence)!

No management positions lost yet! Not in KA ops anyway.

It makes even more sense when you know how inefficiently Ka run their freighter ops. Empty 747's to & from Kix, crew operating 1 & positioning 3 sectors in an 8 day pattern, the list goes on. 7 managers for one 744, top heavy to say the least. S

Several of the Ka Captains already have CX Fo applications in.

When referencing Ka management, it must be prefixed with mis.

dragon501,

You'd be surprised that there are some (Capt's) that have applied. Just a matter of getting around the 'no poaching' policy. (Aren't we all just one happy family anyhow now????)
